Kaitlyn + Michael | Disney Fairy Tale Wedding

Once upon a time, Kaitlyn and Michael met in high school while working together at Kaitlyn’s uncle’s restaurant! 5 years later, Michael asked Kaitlyn to be his girlfriend on the 4th of July, so fireworks are extra special to them as a couple.

After a proposal at Virginia Beach (think huge “MARRY ME” letters and flowers in front of the ocean), Michael was happy to follow along with Kaitlyn’s dream Disney wedding! They even brought their moms to Walt Disney World to tour their dream venues. We were so excited for this one- they were married in Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, had their cocktail hour in Italy Isola, and danced the night away at the American Adventure Rotunda!

Kaitlyn and Michael had their wedding party compete for who would have the best intro. I believe these guys came into “Gaston” and this bridesmaid kicked his butt:

Kaitlyn and her mom danced to “Edelweiss” and we all cried.

They handed out light up bracelets that synced together, like a Taylor Swift concert!!

Ashton + Nick : Disney Winter Wedding

It was a college meet-cute: one night during finals, Ashton needed a break from studying. She drove to a friend’s house at a nearby college, but she wasn’t the only one with that idea! Nick was there to escape studying, too. :)

One proposal in front of Walt Disney World’s Cinderella Castle later, and it was time to get to planning that dream wedding!

Chelsea + Justin : Oak Manor Lawn Disney Wedding

I’m so thankful our Oak Manor Lawn curse seeeems to have been lifted! My Tennessee heart longed to photograph a wedding here, but Florida storms kept moving our ceremonies to backup locations. The forecast leading up to Chelsea and Justin’s day wasn’t looking good (you’d think I’d know by now to never trust a 10 day forecast!!), but not only did the rain stay away, but we had the dreamiest, magical-est light. I’m exactly as in love with Oak Manor Lawn ceremonies as I thought I’d be. <3

Chelsea and Justin’s love story began with Bumble (thankfully Justin was persistent- sounds like it took quite a few tries before Chelsea finally swiped right!!) As soon as they started dating, Chelsea realized what a catch Justin was and she’s been smitten ever since.

I’m so excited that Chelsea and Justin chose Kimberly from Heart Happy Films for their wedding videography; I cannot wait to see her masterpiece from this day! Make sure you’re following her on Instagram so we can swoon over it together. My favorite thing about working with Kimberly is how well our final products work together. Sometimes when you see the wedding photos vs. video there’s just a different “feel,” but Heart Happy’s videos genuinely look like our photos came back to life. Does that make sense? :)
