Jennifer + Frankie : Boardwalk Inn Engagement Session

It all started when my mom was having a problem with her Capitol One card and asked to speak to a supervisor. Enter Jennifer, who after finding out my Mom lives in Orlando and works for Disney, excitedly told her she was planning a Disney wedding! Mom has always been our biggest cheerleader, so she immediately asked if Jennifer had a wedding photographer yet and gave her our info. :)

While we won’t be photographing Jennifer and Frankie’s wedding day, we were able to meet up for some engagement photos around Disney’s Boardwalk Inn! (Thanks, Mom!)

Dayna + Peter : Disney Boardwalk Inn Resort Engagement Session

Happy New Year, friends!!!! I know I probably shouldn’t be saying that this late in the month, but the Christmas tree behind me says otherwise! ;)

The last few weeks of 2014 were a bit challenging for us to say the least- Between a bout of food poisoning, a lovely plumbing backup in our apartment bathroom, learning that I’m allergic to Christmas trees, and a sinus infection we just can’t defeat, I was anxious for 2015 to get here already. Things are already looking up for us this year- Only one more month until our new home is finished and we’re looking forward to some visits from friends and family in the coming weeks. I hope your new year is looking up, too! :)

Dayna and Peter were one of our first sessions of 2015! These adorable faces come from Vancouver, and even though our first session was rained out, we were able to make some pretty photos together a few days later!

Katarina + Natalia + Branden : OMG, the Triplets are 15!!

This just can’t be right.

10 years and 10 months ago, I met the sweetest four-year-olds you ever did see, and a few years later, I got married and they became my siblings forever. I will always remember their little personalities- Natalia smart and shy, Branden running around and roaring like a dinosaur, and Katarina, my mini-me, playing “office” with her dad’s old work papers under a table while her siblings splash in the pool. I tried digging up some old photos, but here’s one of me and six-year-old Kat, and I believe this is the night I taught her how to make a fishy face. <3

It’s hard to believe that two Christmases ago, we took this photo and I thought they looked so old then…

… And last month, we showed up and they looked like this!!!
