West Coast Travel Recap

August 23, 2012 by Jensey 13 Comments

It may be a while until I can post a full recap of the amazing trip Nate and I took this summer, so I’m doing a much longer than normal preview! :) Meagan and Lucas’ wedding kicked off our trip, followed by a week visiting family in San Francisco, and another week  split between Seattle and Vancouver. This was our first non work vacation in years, and we loved every minute of it!

A little out of order here, but I had to start with one of my favorites- Love at Mt. Rainier! Thank goodness for self timers. :)

Meeting Mr. Pickles was a true highlight of our trip! :)

My Aunt Cami knew the best spots to get photos of the Golden Gate!

Nate’s favorite. :)

Gotta do Lombard! :)

Hey baby, I hear the blues a-callin’, Tossed salad and scrambled eggs- Oh My!

Swoooooooon!

Vancouver!

Oh, my.

Favorite. :)

Thanks for following along, lovelies! More from this trip to hopefully come soon. :)

More of our travel photos!

Chicago

LOVE this post!!! I grew up in San Francisco (all my family is there), I currently live in Seattle and my dad owns a house in Vancouver so we go often! The Pacific Northwest could easily be the most beautiful part of our country – I feel lucky to live here. I can’t wait to see the rest of your photos! Hurry up with that post :)

Lucky! I grew up going to San Francisco to visit family in the summer, and it’s been so fun to share my love of the city with him. :) I’m with you on the Pacific Northwest- I always thought I’d want to end up in Seattle! You’re *so* lucky to live there.

I am taking my first trip to San Fran in October (Napa too), you will have to tell me where to get the best photos of the golden gate!

If I had known you were in my ‘hood (Vancouver) I would have made you cookies!
Glad you enjoyed your visit to the city and it didn’t rain the whole time you were here.

That is great, it rained heavily overnight last night so I am hoping all the dead grass will get green again!

Did you find any interesting places to eat?

I think our favorite place was Lift, if just to experience using iPads for menus! :)

Brilliant. Those are our old stompin’ grounds … I’m pretty sure I spy a little piece of my heart in every one of your beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing.
