Aiko + KS : DISNEYLAND WEDDING PART ONE !!!

October 8, 2017 by Jensey 1 Comment

IT’S HERE! IT’S HERE! My first wedding back from adoption leave!!!

I couldn’t have chosen a better first wedding back. Aiko and KS were the kindest couple, we worked with a wonderful team, and were in my favorite place on Earth! I *almost* forgot about how much I missed Ollie, I was having so much fun. :)

Aiko, a software engineer, dreamed of getting married at Disneyland for decades. KS made her dream come true, and we couldn’t have been prouder to be the ones to document their day.

Tara Fontana of Fairytale Hair and Makeup was on hand to make Aiko look and feel like the princess she is! :)

KS and Aiko’s wedding bands on their wedding invitation, which included a watercolor castle Aiko painted herself!

DID I MENTION THEY GOT READY TOGETHER?!?? SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON! <3

Bumped into this celebrity during their portraits! :)

Too much goodness for one post. Come back soon for part two!! :)

Kimberly + Alexa : Doctor Who Inspired Disney Wedding

August 14, 2017 by Jensey 3 Comments

I’m going to make a confession: Nate and I have never seen Doctor Who.

But after editing photos from this wedding, that may have to change! Kimberly and Alexa met at a Doctor Who convention, so it was only appropriate that their day had constant nods to their favorite show. (I mean… They even had the TARDIS at their reception!)

This was another wedding Nate shot while I was on adoption leave, so while I was home snuggling a squishy newborn, he was photographing this wedding with the ever phenomenal Kim! :)

Swoooooooooooooooooooooooooooon! <3

One of my faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavorites! <3

Alexa took Kimberly’s last name of Flit, which is the name of Pocahontas’s hummingbird buddy in the movie! Of course they had to have these two stop by for photos, too! :)

Meredith + Chad : Lilly Inspired Boardwalk Engagement Session

July 27, 2017 by Jensey 2 Comments

I am in. love. with. morning. Boardwalk. and. Beach. Club. engagement. sessions.

Also, I just asked Nate if there’s anything of note I should include in this blog post, his response was, “I’m actually writing her right now. You could say that they’re getting married next April, it’s our first wedding reception at the GM Lounge in Epcot! And today we nailed down her family shot list and wedding day timeline. All planned!! This far out!!! She is awesome.” <3

Meredith’s family has been making the 8 hour drive to Disney at least once or twice a year and staying at the Beach Club Resort for 12 years, so there was no more suitable place for their engagement photos! :)

Meredith and Chad, thank you for being so wonderful and we can’t wait to hug you again in April!!! It will be here before we know it!!! :)
