Charlotte + David : Romantic Disney Wedding
It’s Charlotte and David’s blog day!!! :)
You might remember Charlotte and David’s engagement session if you ever mistook one of our brides for Zooey Deschanel! :) I was dying to photograph this day ever since Nate took their engagement photos around downtown Winter Garden. :)
Charlotte and David traveled all the way from the UK to get married! When 16 year old Charlotte took a family vacation to Walt Disney World, she caught a glimpse of the Wedding Pavilion from the ferry and knew she’d be back to get married there some day. Well, spoiler alert: Her dream came true and it was such a lovely day, and not just because I got to listen to their delightful accents for 10 hours! :)
There is no way to put into words how much we loved these two, so I’ll just leave you with Charlotte’s wedding vows, which made me fall in love with their love!
“You’ve literally made my dreams come true today because you love me- possibly too much- and knew it meant the world to me. I love your kindness, your handsome face, your loyalty, and your patience. I love how much you love me, the way you look at me, and that you put up with my constant singing. I love your bad jokes, your dodgy dancing, and of course your bum! I am so thankful for all the memories we have shared, our funny first date because your brothers canceled on you, the sweet way you asked me to be your girlfriend, and your face when you saw how much I could eat for breakfast. I promise to keep reminding you your kabobs on the way home are unhealthy and to wear lots of sun cream because I want to live long happy lives by each other’s side. You are and will always be my greatest adventure and I’m so excited for all we’ve got before us.”
Huge thanks to our wonderful vendor friends for making this day so magical, but the most thanks goes to this sweet couple. Charlotte and David, we can’t wait to catch up again on your future trips back here!!
Charlotte had two amazing dresses- The vintage number above and then this classic ballgown below (complete with majestic bow in the back!)
Look at the little hidden Mickey on David’s wedding band!!! <3
This one of Charlotte’s Mum watching her daughter get dressed gives me alllllll the feels. <3
David was the most, most dapper! <3
Charlotte and her father had their first look in front of my Mary Poppins fountain! (I’m just loaning it to the Grand for the time being, but expect to have it back in my front yard soon.)
“Wingardium leviosa!”
One of my many favorites! Looooooved Charlotte’s sweet parents. <3
Hellloooooo, Zooey Deschanel!
Nate and I wanted to adopt all three- British accents and all! <3 <3 <3
After guests enjoyed dinner and toasts on the patio, they headed to the Whitehall Room for dancing and magic lanterns! :)
Look at this wedding cake topper!!!
Their first dance began like any other…
… And morphed into one of the most impressive choreographed dances to a montage of Disney favorites! :)
I don’t have a clue what’s going on here, but I’m obsessed and felt the need to share. More of whatever this is, please! :)
Charlotte and David, we can’t thank you enough for having us. Come back and visit soon!!! :)
Marsha + Judy : Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge Wedding
“A heart is not judged by how much you love; but by how much you are loved by others.” ― The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
That quote kicked off Marsha and Judy’s wedding ceremony, and I can think of no more fitting description for these two incredible women.
They’ve been together for almost 20 years- first meeting online, becoming close over messages, then their first date at Steak and Shake. They’re the two incredible aunts of my best friend, Veronica, and my newest acquired family members as I slowly carve out a permanent spot in her family. :) When I started asking Veronica questions about how they met, she responded with, “I don’t actually know- They’ve just always been ‘Marsha and Judy’ as long as I can remember.” I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a couple more beloved- When they opened up the mic for toasts during the reception, it was practically standing room only of people sharing their memories, love, and gratitude for these two, each sentiment more touching than the last.
In the 13 years we’ve photographed weddings, this was my all-time favorite ceremony. Veronica’s dad officiated, her mother sang, and every quote, sentiment, vow, and laugh was so perfectly tailored to them and the life they’ve built together.
Nate said it best on our drive home. “We’ve only known them a short time, but our lives are already richer because of them.”
Marsha and Judy, we love you to the moon, and we hope you love your wedding preview. Thank you for the greatest honor of letting us be your photographers!! :)
I have never, ever seen a more joyful start to a wedding ceremony than watching Marsha literally giggle and dance her way down the aisle and both of them greeting their guests with big hugs and kisses!!
Favorite. <3
Trying to steal a kiss after Judy said her vows! :)
Breaking the glass! Mazel tov! <3
MARRIED! <3
Their ceremony was at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, and this little courtyard was my faaaaavorite! :)
Ollie’s two favorite people and most requested friends- “Ronna and Deg!” <3 <3
How happy is this cake set up?! Made by my our favorite cake maker- Nini Dink Designs Custom Cakes!
And now for some favorite photos from their morning after brunch! Orange juice cheers with Ollie! :)
My newest Mama! <3
“Tut Tut” and Ollie! <3
Marsha and Judy- My *only* complaint about your wedding is that we never got a photo together! Let’s fix that asap. We love y’all!!!! :)
Ace + Michael : Disney Cruise Line Wedding Photographer on the Disney Dream
Hooray! Hooray! It’s Ace and Michael’s wedding preview day! :)
It’s hard to believe we just finished our *5th* Disney Cruise Line wedding!!! The best thing about these weddings now is getting to bring our son on board and make it a little family vacation. While booking a 4 day cruise in May initially made me a little nervous being smack dab in the middle of a busy wedding season, 4 days away from the office and internet was *exactly* what this Mama needed this month!
I’ll post some of our personal photos once I get around to editing them, but let me just say that Ollie’s second cruise did. not. disappoint. Our little curly-headed pirate stole hearts, ate his weight in bread and ice cream alone, and we made so many sweet memories!
Ace contacted us about a year and a half ago (!!!!) to shoot their wedding! She found us on Google and we’re so, so honored they chose us to document their day. I loved their friends so much I wanted to be a part of it and my cheeks were sore from smiling by the end of the day! :)
Ace and Michael, thank you for EVERYTHING. Enjoy your preview!!!
First up, my faaaaavorite. <3
Their save the date set the perfect tone for their wedding! This beauty has been hanging on our fridge all year. <3
On the morning of their wedding, the lobby was paaaaacked, so I couldn’t do my usual dress hanging shot in the atrium! But I’m loving the porthole I did find. <3
This first look <3 <3
Favorite wedding party shot! :)
Their ceremony was in the atrium during Nassau day, so it was so private and empty. <3
These guys were so adorably freaked out to try their apple juice out of champagne glasses! :)
Our welcome bag even provided coloring books and swag for Ollie! <3
Ace and Michael, we can’t thank you enough for having us!! Safe trip home!! :)
