Adriana + Blake : Historic Dubsdread Ballroom Wedding

November 26, 2019 by Jensey Leave a Comment

Oh, this job o’ mine. <3

Sometimes the most lovely couple gets the most lovely light and the most lovely weather and has the most lovely flower girl, and then you get two DOGS on top of it all and it just ends up being the most, most lovely wedding. :)

Adriana and Blake spent four years together leading up to this day and we were thrilled to be a small part of the most lovely vendor team! :)

And then there was this little miss- She was Nate’s shadow all day and I lost count of how many times I caught her running after my husband with outstretched arms, lol!

Ollie saw me editing the next two photos, and his captions were my favorite!

This one: “They sleepin’, Mama.”

“LOOK! She wake up!” <3

Second favorite part of their wedding day? La Hora Loca! Their guests all donned colorful masks as two drummers and two dancers burst through the door to have “the crazy hour!”

Not even gonna caption this one, but they know what happened, lol! ;)

Adriana and Blake, we cannot thank you enough for having us- SUCH a fun day and we hope you love your photos as much as we loved taking them! :)

Allison + Justin : Disney Fairy Tale Wedding

November 21, 2019 by Jensey Leave a Comment

It all began with a match on Bumble and led to a Cinderella Castle proposal at Walt Disney World! Justin may have not taken his first trip to Walt Disney World until 2018, but he’s a Disney kid at heart and can even give Allison a run for her money in Disney trivia! Allison and Justin are two of the most fun, fit, and friendly people we’ve ever met and it was an absolute honor to have a small part in their best day ever. :)

Devon + Dan : Greenville, SC Wedding at The Avenue

November 13, 2019 by Jensey Leave a Comment

To understand the great we love we have for this sweet family, you’d need to first visit Devon’s sisters’ weddings:

Erin and Mark in Rose Valley, PA
Kate and Anthony in Greenville, SC

Our business is only a business because of our word-of-mouth referrals. Y’all have sent us to your best friends and complete strangers and we’re forever grateful for it! The honor of being a wedding photographer is brought back tenfold when families keep us around- This was our *third* wedding for these siblings (and there maaaaay be a 4th just around the corner- *cough* Jason! *cough*)

Erin was our first bride of this favorite family- I loved them all so much immediately I even jumped in a photo with these sisters when I first met them! (I don’t think I’ve *ever* done that, lol!) While we didn’t get a chance to take it again on Kate’s wedding day, we did do it on Devon’s!

(Just ignore my sleepy eyes- I didn’t have a sleep-talking two year old in my hotel room the night before Erin’s wedding!)

Before I continue, here are links to this amazing vendor team! We love doing weddings out of state and meeting new “friendors,” but it’s incredibly depressing when we find a vendor we love so much we wish we could work with them back home! If you live in South Carolina (or are open to a florist traveling to your wedding!), you’ll find no one greater than Anna Stouffer of Urban Petals. I love her so much, and not *just* because Devon’s mother is a key part of her incredible team!!

Venues: Ceremony at St. Mary’s Church followed by a reception at The Avenue in downtown Greenville
Wedding Planner: Shannon Royal Pruitt with Bespoken Events
Hair & Makeup: Latia Curtis
DJ: Uptown Entertainment
Floral Designer: Anna Stouffer with Urban Petals
Bride’s Dress Designer: Kate McDonald “Hughes” from White Magnolia Greenville
Bridesmaids Dresses: Bill Levkoff from Bella Bridesmaids Greenville
Cake Designer: Brick Street Cafe
Catering: Table 301

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaavorite. <3

There *may* have been a *minor* emergency the morning of Devon’s wedding regarding her bustle never being put in. Thanks to the quickest alterations you can imagine, the problem was fixed in maybe 30 minutes and Devon was nothing but calm and grace through the whole dilemma. <3

First look time in front of St. Mary’s Catholic Church! <3

Love this look on Dan’s face! :)

Devon, you were stunning!!!!

Greenville churches seem to have pretty strict photography policies, but I love the little we were able to capture! <3

Root Lifers portraits <3 <3

I should also say here that leading up to Devon’s wedding day, we were bracing for a 100% chance of rain headed our way. We were fresh off the heels of Claudia and Paul’s tropical storm wedding, so when the rain chances cleared and we were instead given a perfect temperature with overcast skies, we couldn’t have been happier!!

We could shoot in downtown Greenville allllll day! <3

Another favorite. <3

Palermo family, thank you for making us yours!! We love you more than words can say- Please come visit Orlando soon!!! :)
