Summer may not have officially started, but with the 95º temps we’ve been seeing in Nashville and Orlando, I’m officially professing that the Dog Days are here! If you’re braving an engagement shoot this summer, be mindful of the heat when choosing your outfit.
I know it’s tempting to reach for that black dress that’s oh-so-flattering, but please resist! Not only will it absorb the sun’s rays and make it even hotter for you, but it can also make you blend in to the background. After all this is your engagement shoot, it should be you that stands out :)
A hat and some sunnies can change a whole look without actually doing an outfit change. As for the clutch, take advantage of you and your fiance being gussied up and have a date night. After working it in front of the camera for an hour, you’ve earned a nice meal out and a margarita or two ;)
