Allie + Lauren : Vanderbilt Campus Family Session in Nashville, Tennessee

I’ve known Allie Gay(tor) since I was 6 years old and in the first grade. With her blonde curls, amazing singing voice, and perfect southern accent, we grew up polar opposites of each other, but somehow our friendship just worked.

One of the highlights of my high school years was watching my best friend take the stage and completely losing it in the audience when senior year, she finally scored the lead as Polly in Crazy for You. It’s no surprise that today she’s a musical theater teacher; I can’t think of a more fitting career for my sweet friend!

While Nate and I lived in Nashville, Allie contacted us for photos of her and the fuzzy little man in her life- Her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Riley. Oh, and her sister Lauren came along, too. :)

I think the last time I saw Lauren she was in middle school and Allie was locking her out of her bedroom. I love how close these two beautiful ladies have become!

We also got to meet Lauren’s little lady, Elanor Rigby. <3

Erin + Brendan + Kimmy : New Home Session in Orlando, Florida

This is Erin and Brendan. You may remember them from their practically perfect Walt Disney World wedding you can read more about here!

Well, Erin and Brendan are a few years into their happily ever after and asked us to document the next chapter of their lives- Their new house!

We’ve heard about Kimmy for years, and it was wonderful to finally meet my favorite Doxie! <3

As if their home wasn’t perfect enough already, Erin modeled this little living area from Up. :)

When our session was done, they made us Mickey waffles(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), and then we talked Disney and life and it was perfect.

I totally would have burned it too, Erin!!

Michelle + Matthew : Celebration, Florida Roommate Session

Remember the adorable, adorable best friend session we photographed a ways back with these two beauties? You know, the Celebration session with shopping bags, bow ties, and this magical greyhound we stumbled across? (Click the photo below for a memory refresh!)

Welllllll, Michelle and Matthew contacted us for some updated photos and it pretty much made my week. :) See, shooting these two is a piece of cake, as it’s literally impossible to take a bad photo of either of them. I mean, look at these guys. They are best friends, roommates, both drive Mini Coopers, and I pretty much just want to look at them all day.
