Disneyland : Preview

March 6, 2013 by Jensey 7 Comments

So, my love for Disneyland has reached a new level that I throw a daycare-worthy temper tantrum on the last night of our trips, refusing to leave the park until Nate promises me we’ll be back. But not just that we’ll be back- I need to know the month and how much we’ll be saving for it each month. It has truly become my happy place!

Disney California Adventure Paradise Pier

On our previous trips, we spent an occasional afternoon in Disney California Adventure, which for us had always just been something to do when Disneyland is crazy crowded. Both of our previous visits were before the new expansion, so it felt like the first 1/3 of the park was just construction walls. When Disney announced Cars Land, I thought it was the worst idea I’d heard yet- I’m so not a fan of the Cars franchise… Little did I know we’d love that land so much it ended up being where we spent most of our time. :)

My favorite part of our trip this time was watching Radiator Springs’ fluorescent lights turn on at sunset. <3

So, so photogenic! We could have (and practically did!) shoot here all day.

And because I can’t do a Disneyland preview without putting in at least a couple photos of the Disneyland Park, these are my favorites so far- Both of the French Quarter, which happened to be decked out for Mardi Gras… How cute are all the dangling beads? :)

Love! I am so jealous of the gorgeous weather that you had on your trip! When we were there in December there was a dense fog present for 75% of the day…fine for enjoying the day, but not so great for photos :( I loved Cars Land too…they hit it out of the park on that one!

I haven’t been to DLR since 2008 – so need to go back!

    Thanks for the terrific photos.

Love these photos!! We just left Disneyland and I throw the exact same tantrum. I start getting sad that we are leaving the morning of the last day lol. Your photos make me very jealous that my husband is not a photographer. He gets annoys with me when I continue to stop to take photos. I feel like I never get to set up a shot like I want because I have to “click and walk” lol. It is a dream of mine to be able to spends a few days ate DLR or WDW just taking amazing photos!!

Gorgeous! We felt the exact same way about Cars Land. I was so not excited for it, then came the AP preview, and I was floored (no pun intended). We hardly ever spend any time at Disneyland these days, between Cars Land & Buena Vista Street, there’s just no where we’d rather be. I’m glad you had such a great time. Hopefully we’ll get to bump into you one of these trips! :)

I am suffering from TERRIBLE DL withdrawals. I haven’t been all year and BARELY got to go at all last year. WAAH! Thanks for making me ache with longing.
