About a month ago, I tweeted : All I want for Christmas is a home. There, I said it.

Well… Christmas came early. :) After almost 4 grueling months of the rollercoaster ride of being approved/ denied/ possibly approved again, we finally got the green light from our lender and 24 hours later, were signing papers with a notary in Orlando (at my Mom’s house, to be exact!). The whole ordeal has been so surreal, and I don’t think it’s sunk in yet that this is OUR HOME and we’re officially Nashville residents. I’ve moved 11 times in the past 9 years, so I’m ready to put down “roots” and stick around for a loooooooong time!

This whole month has been such a whirlwind, and I’m honestly looking forward to unpacking the office and getting back to a normal work schedule after the holidays. I do apologize for the lack of blog updates, but we’ll be back on track soon, promise! Until then, Happy Christmas and Merry Hannukah to all our pals out there!

Congratulations to the Root family on the new house! What part of Nashville? Hey Jensey, Lauren and Eric are coming home for Christmas this year! I’m one happy Momma. Lauren and Eric arrive on Thursday, Dec 22 and will be going back to Seattle on Tuesday, Dec 27. By any chance will you and Nathan be in Memphis during any of that time? If you are, we would love to have you come by and visit. My cell phone is 901-486-8818. Merry Christmas! Cathy Lykins
