Favorite Things!

August 24, 2010 by Jensey 24 Comments

UPDATED : We have a winner!!! For the first time ever, there’s a tie for who wins my favorite thing- Congrats to Harry and Tilly, siblings who crushed the competition with their blunt honesty. (And, since it was so hard to pick a winner this time, I love that I got to pick two!) Congrats to my favorite Alaskans! :)

Happy Jensey’s Favorite Things day!! As you guys know, on the 24th of each month, I give away one of my favorite things! Just because! :)

I’m not gonna lie- this month’s giveaway may just be my favorite yet – I’m giving away a brand spankin’ new Kid Robot doughnut plush!!!! I can’t even tell you how happy I get just looking at this little guy… I mean, a sprinkle smile? Are you kidding me?!

Want ’em? Well, all you have to do is comment and tell me! Since this is a little quirkier than my past giveaways and isn’t necessarily for everyone, get creative with your comments and tell me why YOU’D make the perfect owner for him! Tell me where he’d go in your house, what you’d name him, etc. :) After 24 hours, I’ll pick a winner and update my post. That person then has 24 hours to send me their address to claim their prize, or I’ll pick another winner. Easy, right? Now come say hello! :)

Just saying hi and how cute he is! Too bad he can’t come live at my house :( Unlike your darling pup, mine are beasts-they seek and destroy anything plush. The most recent victim was an eeyore plush.

Jensey! I would make THE perfect owner of this FABULOUS plush bc a) I have a deep love for doughtnuts, b) It would go in my new dorm room-I am in need of more pillows too :( c) Just looking at it just makes me happy. I would name her sprinkles of course :)) If I was ever so lucky to own Sprinkles, I would take good care of him :)

I wouldn’t put it in my house – I would put it in my classroom! I think my students would get a kick out of seeing him in a new spot every week :)

Um, i do believe this giveaway was made for me. Simon (his new name), would be most comfortable in my home, because I often have lots of friends that he could play with: http://www.sweetswallowsbaking.com/2010/07/there-is-nothing-more-adorable-than.html

((My entry, below…and he would be given to my friend Alison who just recently had a baby…little boy named Xavier Ostroy.))

Seymore Sprinkleface rocked back and forth, deep in thought. He was not concerned with the affairs of the world, or the recent rulings of the four-to-sugar ratio rulings that his father ranted about when talking to Uncle Long-John, or to his Tante Eclair during long distance calls to the Cafe Coissant on the Champs-Élysées. No…Seymore didnt care for politics.Seymore didnt care about kickball, like his bestest friend Bobby Creme (“…of the Boston Cremes” as Bobby’s mother always said after being introduced). And he didnt care about parties, like his sister Cruller Sprinkleface.

Seymore’s excited rock-rock-rock was because he was going on a trip. He was going to a place to be hugged and held and to hear secrets that belonged to someone else but that he would keep so safe deep underneath his frosting. He was going to be with a little boy…a boy whose intials meant hugs and kisses…and that could only mean so many good things.

Seymore rolled into hsi bed, and pulled the covers up tight. X’s and O’s…X’s and O’s. Seymore’s
lids drifted downward and closed…and in his sleep, Seymore smiled.

I must say, I admire your taste greatly :)
Every month you give away something fabulous and fantastic! I’ve never entered because I’ve never had the desperate need that the other root followers had. Until Now.
I just redid my room, and my colors are pink and white. But it is lacking that awesome pillow. I have a white “cozy” chair that is quite dreary at the moment. It needs that something else. That special “root touch” that makes everything look better! This pillow would go perfectly there!
As for a name, I would name it Smiles because it makes me happy :))

    Awww so cute! =)

If he were to come live with me, I would hug him and love him and call him Gesprenkel! That’s the German word for Sprinkles, according to the internet =) see, he’s helping me avoid a sophomore slump of non-studying already!

He could come live in my room at the sorority house and inspire me to study (especially German, as I’m certain he’s very good at it and his name would always remind me!)! He would feel very special being the only guy allowed in my room! And all of my sisters and I would love him =)

I am writing this for my 19 month old son, AJ, because he and myself were looking at things on the computer when we came across the blog and he pointed to the screen and happily scream DOUGHNUT! I said “yes, that is a doughnut.” he then said “I want doughnut……please” (as he signed the word ‘please’.)
so i could not but help but write to you and tell you how much he would love to own him and his name would be ….. you guessed it… doughnut.

Everett says, “Jensey pink sprinkle doughnuts are my favorite and I want it because mommy can’t put a rainbow in my room please and I love you.” He said it really fast, so I know he meant it.

Sprinkle cheese seems like a fitting name. Or “Homer” (as in Simpson). He would live in my bed along with Figment and Chewbacca.

I’d name this handsome snuggle-ific pillow Mister Dreamy because I’d surely have sweet dreams resting my cheek against those sprinkles every night. The only thing that could possibly make this yummy plush better would be an edible version. Hey, a girl can dream!

I would totally put him in my reading center in my Kindergarten classroom. The kids would LOVE it! We would have to vote on a cute name.

Oliver and I would have many fun adventures together.
Oliver would sit in the basket of my bright pink beach cruiser.
Oliver would secure a highly sought after spot on my bed.
Oliver would cover my face during the scary parts.
Oliver would let me lay my head against him during long car rides.
Oliver wouldn’t mind if I used him as a drink holder. :/
And most importantly, Oliver would always be waiting to greet me with a smile after a long day. :)

That is the cutest! I would like him to come live with me so I can bring him on trips with Hoppy and Jeebo (the little plushes I bring on trips with me when the Mister can’t come). Hoppy loves sweet things and Jeebo likes new friends. Mister Bun will hate him but, since he doesn’t travel AT ALL (Mister Bun decided he liked to stay at home to keep the others in line), he will not get a vote. Jeebo will likely want to call him George (as it is Jeebo’s favorite name) but, Hoppy will want to call him Milton. He would live on a shelf in my room with Hoppy and Jeebo when he’s not traveling.

I would name him Jimmy (because those aren’t sprinkles) :) He live in a place of pride on my shelf protected by my Zombie Velociraptors and stuffed ninjas. However, he would probably come down often for snuggles from me and my guests.

This is pretty much the cutest thing ever. I would like to own him so I can give him to my husband because he is always saying I don’t buy enough sweets so then every time he asks me if we have anything sweet in the house I would hand him the donut pillow. His favorite donut is also Strawberry iced. I’m not sure what i’d name him because I think i’d let my husband do the honors!
