Cassie + John : Wedding Part 1

July 26, 2010 by Jensey 26 Comments

When Nathan and I met Cassie and John, they were debating whether to get married in front of Cinderella Castle or on Castaway Cay. They settled for something a little in between- the marina at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, with a reception on the Disney Cruise Line. Yep. You read that right! ;)

Cassie was checking out the progress on her ceremony site when we got to her room that morning:

Cassie surprised her flower girls with Beauty and the Beast snow globes. :)

Bridesmaids delivering John’s wedding gift. :)

Since Disney doesn’t allow dogs to be a part of their wedding ceremonies, Cassie had to improvise John’s gift a bit; She wrapped up photos of the session we did with Molly with a pink dog collar. :)

How gorgeous was her Kirstie Kelly wedding gown?!

One of my favorites. :)

These next two are some of my all time favorites! <3

Cassie’s aunt, an accomplished jazz singer, sang When You Wish Upon A Star as Cassie walked down the aisle. :)

I LOVE emotional grooms. My favorite from the day. :)

When it came time to do the ring exchange, the best man’s box was empty! You’ll have to check back on Wednesday to see what happens next. :)

I love a groom that’s not afraid of a little pink! Can’t wait to see Part 2. I hope it includes the Roots on a boat :)

Fantastic pictures!! The bride is stunningly beautiful. The shots are amazing. The pictures you pick for “favorites” are always the best. The emotional groom picture was so touching.

I can’t wait to see what you post on Wednesday!

I love this wedding! It is absolutely gorgeous, I love the pink!

Also, in the 3rd from the last photo I got a mental image of Jensey on her belly at the end of an aisle during a weeding. Hee! :)

This is such a beautiful wedding, and ooh, I can’t wait to see what happens next! At my parent’s wedding the best man dug around frantically in his pockets and came up with a pink plastic heart ring, and the actual ring was finally found taped to the next groomsman’s shoe!!

The expression on John’s face when he is looking at Molly’s picture for the first time and Cassie’s expression when she sees how beautiful the flower looks in her hair are almost identical, pure wedding happiness! I love it.

Wow! Kudos to Cassie for commiting to such an intense color and just rockin’ it! And also on matching EVERYTHING to the exact same shade! That is NO easy feat! So, what’s the story on the aisle runner? Was that a mistake in the spelling or is there something I don’t know?
And, of course, these photos are amazing. You two really have a gift. :-)

I know… We looooove working with intense colors, so I was on cloud 9 shooting the details for this wedding! No story on the aisle runner- Cassin is her given name, but every one calls her Cassie. :)
