The W Family : Holiday Family Vacation Photos in Orlando, Florida

Despite every effort to get this session posted in December, it turns out working full time and mom-ing full time is a little more time consuming than I prepared myself for, but now we’re finally in our slow month! Yay!! Which means I have time to catch up on the blog while Olliebug sleeps!

While we didn’t shoot their wedding, Jessica and Steven are honorary #RootLifers because we’ve shot their best friends’ weddings and TWO sessions with them now! This was our first time to meet Miss Evelyn!

Nate has taken over our portrait sessions so I have extra time with Oliver, but sometimes they line up well with his nap schedule, and it gives me a chance to have a mini mother/son date with him! So while Nate shot these guys, I walked around with Oliver and practiced his sitting and we got to say hello to these guys while we were there!

But I’m in looooooooooove with the photos Nate shot. I mean, just look at this face for a minute, will you?!

Tara + Cody : Orlando Wedding!

Happy JANUARY!

There are two *very* important posts I need to get up asap!

The first: Our last Disney wedding of 2017! Even though we had another one 3 weeks later, I always get a lil’ sappy about our last weddings of the year. This was such a sweet couple to end the year with, and I mean, when your day starts with an appearance from Tara’s daughter’s elf zip lining in the shower, you know it’s gonna be a good wedding! :)

Also, Goonies cuff-links? Yes, please! :)

Tara’s daughter Emma was an absolute angel. More of her later in the post! :)

Remember when it was Christmas?! Already missing these decorations so much!

I couldn’t get enough of their burgundy palette with their wedding location!

Ceremony time! Emma’s little kiss on Cody’s cheek just melted me!

Nate grabbed this one as soon as Emma ran to them after the ceremony, and it’s my favorite. Favorite favorite favorite.

Loved their choice of reception entertainment! :)

Nate’s been taking over shooting dessert parties on his own so I can snuggle Oliver after being away all day. This night was extra special, though, because Ollie and I enjoyed a mommy and me Epcot date to hear Candlelight, and Tara and Cody invited us to watch the fireworks from their space! So we snuck in right as Illuminations began, watched the show, and I even took a few photos while Oliver snoozed in his stroller. :)

All of these dessert party photos were taken by Nate, except the one below on the right which I grabbed really quickly! :)

Tara and Cody, thank y’all for ending our year of Disney weddings in the sweetest way possible! We wish you the very very best!! :)

Meredith + Chad : Lilly Inspired Boardwalk Engagement Session

I am in. love. with. morning. Boardwalk. and. Beach. Club. engagement. sessions.

Also, I just asked Nate if there’s anything of note I should include in this blog post, his response was, “I’m actually writing her right now. You could say that they’re getting married next April, it’s our first wedding reception at the GM Lounge in Epcot! And today we nailed down her family shot list and wedding day timeline. All planned!! This far out!!! She is awesome.” <3

Meredith’s family has been making the 8 hour drive to Disney at least once or twice a year and staying at the Beach Club Resort for 12 years, so there was no more suitable place for their engagement photos! :)

Meredith and Chad, thank you for being so wonderful and we can’t wait to hug you again in April!!! It will be here before we know it!!! :)
