Katrina + Josh : Disney Cruise Line Wedding on the Disney Dream!
We loved Josh and Katrina from the moment we learned they’re the parents of two poms- One with no teeth and one who’s 16! They both work in the film industry and got engaged in Iceland… How do you top this? By getting married on the Disney Dream, of course!
This wedding meant we were able to make a true family vacation out of it. Ollie hung out in the on-ship Small World daycare while we photographed the wedding. He looooved it, and it was so fun shooting a wedding knowing he was right down the hallway. <3
My favorite moment with Katrina and Josh wasn’t their engagement session, or even their wedding day- Nope. It was about 9pm a couple weeks after their wedding when we saw them pumping gas at the station down the street from our house. I think we were all in pajamas, and we grabbed Ollie and walked up to Katrina’s passenger window. They were on their way to Disney and just took a random exit off the Turnpike to fill up- Little did they know they were down the street from our home! :)
Best groom gift ever? I think perhaps!! Katrina surprised Josh with a vintage Game Boy!
Katrina raised the bar for stateroom door decor juuuuust a little bit! ;)
Just a little pre-wedding mini golf with the groomsmen! :)
Wedding hazard of a cruise ship first look- That wiiiind!
One of my favorite bridal portraits ever! :)
They were married in the atrium of the Disney Dream lobby, and Katrina made her walk down the aisle down the grand staircase.
Group selfie with our Switzerworld filmmaker buddies! <3
Post wedding celebration, Nate met up with Katrina and Josh for more portraits and a change of dress. :)
That one on the right is my faaaavorite. <3
Katrina and Josh, thank you for letting us join your adventure!!! We wish y’all the very best- See you in the parks! :)
The O Family : Family Session at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort
Kristina + Joe : Paradise Cove Old-Florida Wedding in Orlando, Florida
Mossy trees. Lake view. Gazebo backdrop of hanging dried oranges. Groom making an entrance on a speedboat, James Bond-style. S’mores. Flamingos in mouse ears.
I can’t pick just one detail I loved the most about Kristina and Joe’s wedding day, but those were some of my favorites!! It was a big DIY wedding for these two who put their hearts and sweat into details that represented them as a couple. So many details, in fact, that they stayed at a Fort Wilderness cabin the week of their nuptials so they could just pull their U-Haul right up to their room! :)
The one thing Kristina and Joe couldn’t plan for their wedding day was the weather, which turned out to be absolutely perfect. :)
Y’all, look at Kristina’s wedding band and her little Mickeys!!! <3
I secretly love when brides don’t have attendants to help them get dressed so I get to play bridesmaid for a day! Well… a minute, at least! :)
Loved this little sign greeting their wedding guests- Joe is a flight attendant! <3
My favorite fun fact : “He won a swim scholarship, she never learned to swim.” :)
I may or may not be making these for our yard this summer!!
Joe’s James Bond entrance!!
Kristina’s parents praying over their wedding rings in a ring warming ceremony. <3
I think every wedding needs a Power Bar!!!
Kristina and Joe, we adore y’all- Thank you for letting us be a part of it!!! :)
