Francis Family : Portrait
When Madeline and Lydia entered our 2010 portrait giveaway (yay!), we immediately knew their family was the perfect fit for us. Lydia is an aspiring photographer, and she and Madeline had been self-proclaimed “blog stalkers” for ages, so I felt like I knew them before even meeting. They wanted to surprise their parents on Christmas with the session if they won and ended their entry with “More importantly, we feel that we would all instantly connect and feel like life-long friends.” Boy, were they right!
This was their most recent professional family photo, taken over thirteen years ago!!
Lydia wowed us with her mad photo bombing technique!
Adopt me. Please?!
I’m telling you- It was love at first sight!
Who doesn’t love spontaneous family skipping?!
Seriously- Adopt me? I can totally be home for Christmas! ;)
These two are my favorite ever- They’re absolute goofballs like me and my sister. :)
We love you all!!!!!!! Thank you so much for the amazing time- Cupcakes soon?!
More Root Photography Family Sessions!
Larisa + Eric : Wedding Part II
Continued from Larisa and Eric’s Wedding Part I.
As soon as we left Corpus Christi Catholic Church, it was on to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort for photos!
Larisa did her Walt Disney World College Program (holla!) at the Yacht Club. :)
Probably my favorite photo I’ve taken all year. :)
Their reception at Ariel’s fit perfectly with Larisa’s hand-picked details.
Dancing to Jimmy Buffett’s “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” Larisa and Eric, thank you so much for being so wonderful! :)
Larisa + Eric : Wedding Part I
Larisa and Eric met in Paradise- Cheeseburger in Paradise, to be exact! Their wedding was the day after their four year anniversary, and we were excited to be a part of it!
I apologize for kinda forgetting to post our mirror shots lately!
Larisa’s “it takes a village” photo. :) We know it’s gonna be a great day when Patricia LeJeune’s team is on hair and make-up!
Larisa’s wedding gift for Eric was this vintage Star Wars lunch box- Perfect for a ring shot!
I don’t know what I love more- Eric’s dimples or that charming bow tie?
I still can’t decide if Larisa looked more like Princess Diana or Marilyn Monroe.
One of my all time favorite bridal portraits. :)
While Larisa and Eric had their wedding reception at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club, their ceremony was in Celebration’s Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
