Eve + Phil : Preview

November 8, 2011 by Jensey 9 Comments

Eve and Phil drove all the way from Alabama yesterday for their Nashville engagement session, and we were so flattered! We had fun exploring our new city with some new friends, and I’m downright in love with all of these photos. :)

Eve did an amazing job with their wardrobe… How cute were they?!

FAVORITE! Eve is a brand ambassador for Spirit Hoods, the company that makes these amazing creations! If you’re interested in grabbing one for yourself, you can go to the main Spirit Hoods site here and enter “HOODME” for 15% off your purchase. I’m so tempted to get the one she wore so I can go as Huckleberry Finn for Halloween next year! :)

Eve and Phil, thanks for being amazing! Can’t wait to share the rest. :)

Sarah + Zach : Preview

November 7, 2011 by Jensey 9 Comments

My college roommate is getting married. :) We met Sarah and her groom-to-be for a very southern fall engagement session around her parents’ home in Leiper’s Fork. It was just the sort of Tennessee session we’ve been craving, and Nate and I have been on a shooting high ever since! :)

Thank you, Finale and Paramore, for this adorable symmetry!

FAVORITE!

Full post to come in a bit! :)

First Look on the 1st : Erin + Rick

November 1, 2011 by Jensey 1 Comment

Sent to us from past couple Erin and Rick :

As many other couples, we originally chose to do a first look for practicality. As our wedding day approached we realized how important it was for us to have great photos throughout our day. We knew the day would fly by once we were ready to go and the first look was our chance to take a few moments before the busyness of the day began. We were able to chat about the little details of the big day ahead.

From Erin’s point of view: “There was one thing I was sure about, that I didn’t want to cry in front of everyone during the ceremony. I wanted to be able to focus on our vows and not worry how I looked to the guests or cameras.”

From Rick’s point of view: “As much of our day was nontraditional in nature, the first look was our chance to get nervousness out of the way.”

Looking back we wouldn’t have changed a thing. We hope other couples choose to do a first look so they are able to take advantage of this experience they won’t soon forget.
