Water for Elephants

I’m a sucker for books about forbidden love and adventure, and Water for Elephants was no exception. Today, the movie version opens, and if you’re anything like me, that’s not necessarily a good thing. Very rarely is the movie as good as the book, much less better than it, but I have my fingers crossed for this one. With Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, that guy from Twilight, and a traveling circus –and not that cheesy kind with the scary clowns but a dreamy menagerie to which to escape –how can you go wrong?

I love when our couples invest in the engagement guest book.

Never had I ever seen floral arrangements as stunning as these. The floral chandelier on the left hung over the dance floor!

Isleworth’s ballroom was transformed into Wonderland. :)

Yes, that really is a cake on the right!

 

Instead of bubbles or sparklers, Kaitlyn and Tony made their exit through guests singing their alma maters’ fight songs and shaking pompoms. :)

It was awesome, and the guests got totally into it!

Kaitlyn + Tony : Wedding Part I

Remember Kaitlyn and Tony’s engagement session that ended up with them jumping in the pool at Isleworth Country Club? Ever since our first meeting with Kaitlyn and her sweet Mom, we knew this was gonna be an amazing wedding. I mean… Kaitlyn initially dreamed of going down the aisle riding an elephant, so we pretty much hit it off immediately. ;)

Nate and I have been looking forward to shooting an Isleworth Country Club wedding ever since we started photographing weddings in central Florida. Kaitlyn and Tony’s wedding was the epitome of a picture perfect day, with every detail oozing beauty and perfection.

Kaitlyn’s flower girl just hated the camera, can’t you tell? ;)

Loooved their wedding details.

They’re as nuts about their dog, Peanut, as we are about our Huckleberry. Remember their engagement session? :)

I adore this shot of Tony escorting his grandmother to her seat. :)

The ceremony took place right behind Kaitlyn’s parent’s back yard, next to a lake. :)
