Liz + Bryan : Wedding Part II

July 18, 2012 by Jensey 5 Comments

Continued from Liz and Bryan’s Wedding Part I. :)

I love a good daytime exit!

Thank you to the random guests who offered their surrey for a few photos! :)

I love how well their colors worked with the Atlantic Dance Hall.

For their first dance, Bryan’s friend crooned “That’s All.” So sweet.

My favorite thing about Disney weddings? All the little kiddies that come up and compliment the couple. :)

Mad props to Liz and Bryan who instead of a “first look,” gave us tons of time after the reception for some photos around the Boardwalk Inn. We were able to get shots like this… Any New Girl fans out there? ;)

Favorite.

We ended photos at a place near and dear to my heart, the Bellevue Lounge, where they ended the night with best friends and drinks.

I don’t have a photo of it, but the night ended with us getting a giant, spontaneous group hug from Liz and Bryan’s bridal party! It was pretty much wonderful, and we left on a warm fuzzy overload. Liz and Bryan, WE LOVE YOU! Let us know whenever you make it to Nashville! :)

Liz + Bryan : Wedding Part I

July 17, 2012 by Jensey 12 Comments

Liz had a hunch Bryan would propose during their winter trip to Disney. They planned a romantic dinner for two at Jiko (my favorite!), but when they sat down and Bryan dropped the bomb that he was still working on the ring, Liz’s heart sank. So much so that she proceeded to pout through their entire meal! When dessert arrived with “Will you marry me?” written in chocolate syrup, she realized she’d been dooped and immediately said yes. :) It was only fitting that they chose to get married at Walt Disney World- The scene of the crime!

Liz and Bryan exchanged vows at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion at the Grand Floridian, with their wedding reception following at the BoardWalk Inn’s Atlantic Dance Hall.

As if they weren’t amazing enough, Liz and Bryan’s had their friend do this original piece for us. I loooooooove it!!!!!!!!!!

I love Liz’s “I’M GETTING MARRIED!” face. :)

Two of the cutest flower girls EVER. Nate and I always joke that they should have a flower girl/ ring bearer rental company, and these two would bring in the big bucks!

Liz and her best friend Meghan had been Tweeting at us for a good year before the wedding. When the date finally came, I felt like we were old friends already!

Liz didn’t want to do a first look with Bryan, but she insisted on one with Dad. So sweet.

Totally unposed. (Thank you, adorable flower girl!)

Brooke + Chris = Lucy + Eli

July 16, 2012 by Jensey 8 Comments

Brooke and Chris were one of our very first weddings. It’s hard to believe it’s been 5+ years and now they’re parents of twins! When Brooke first wrote us asking about scheduling a session with her two year olds, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was a bit, well… Scared to death! But when Nate reminded me how amazing Brooke and Chris are and assured me we’d be just fine, I started to come around to the idea. And then got really, really excited. :)

It’s always been my dream to have twins. In fact, on one of Nate and my first dates, I announced that if I ever had twins, I’d keep one and give away the other and have them find each other when they’re 12, Parent Trap style. Don’t worry; I was only a little serious. ;) The closer to maybe-parenthood I get, the scarier twins seem. I still think it’s a dream of mine, but after spending just a smidgen of time with Brooke and her sweet family, I can tell you she truly is Wonder Mom!

Enough talking- Meet Lucy and Eli. :)

They weren’t too sure of us at the start of the shoot!

Every time we do a family session, I get the urge to be swung like this! If there are any giants reading this blog, come swing me!

Chris adores these kids and can do some mad gymnastics with Eli. I think they need to open a father/son show! :)

Eli looooooves his trucks!

Super Mom!

Had to post these. :)

Brooke amazed me many times this shoot, but the biggest thing was her ability to hold both kids at once while reading a book and turning the pages. It’s a wonder when I walk and chew gum at the same time!

I love family photos like this. :)

Brooke had more surprises up her sleeve for the munchkins- Balloons!

What started off as fun…

… Got a little heated! I said this on their preview post, but this is sincerely my favorite photo I’ve ever taken! Brooke said it sums up her life right now perfectly. :)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris, Brooke, Lucy, and Eli, thank you guys for playing with us!!!! We really, truly can’t wait to watch you grow up! :)
