I could gush about these two for days, and the truth is Nate and I had such a wonderful day photographing Jessica and Alicia that I was genuinely teary saying goodnight! Jessica and Alicia are two people who love each other so much it’s infectious. I know it’s cheesy, but it was impossible to be around either of them and not smile, or not know this was the best day of their life.
We’ve slowly but surely been playing catch up after a couple weeks out of the office, so these newlyweds have been waiting the longest for their preview photos but have been so incredibly patient. Jessica and Alicia, enjoy, and let’s do it again sometime, ok? :)

Hello, my friends!
If we’re “friends” on Facebook or you follow my Instagram account, you may have seen that we had a little health scare last week and I ended up spending a few nights in the hospital having my gallbladder removed. Well, one week later and I’m walking around just fine and back in the office editing. I’m *almost* ready to conquer the stairs and riding in the car, but not quiiiiiite yet.
I’ll be posting previews from a bagillion events soon, but just to buy me a day of time, here’s a sweet family session we photographed in Winter Park over a year ago! I know, I know- Some events just take a while to actually get up here.
So friends, meet Zoe and Pax, the two adorable kiddos who belong to Jessie and Rob, a couple who’s wedding we photographed our first year of business. It’s always fun to photograph past Root couples and their growing families, but most especially when it’s one from our first years!
